the Petlyakov pe-3 made by Vladimir Petlyavok was a Russian WW2 heavy fighter plane its top speed was 329 mph with a range of 932.1 miles. the planes first roles were ground attacks and escort roles during the battle of Moscow, but proved to be costly since this plane unamoured. after that it was given armour and some more guns to make it more effetive but the evacuation of the sole factory that was building the pe-3 limited its the number of aircrafts being made.
