In 1949 Soekarno appointed several aircraft designers to make domestic production jets to secure Indonesian territory
In 1950 the prototype of this aircraft was given serial number 381 and began flight tests In 1951
The aircraft successfully flew and will produce around 50 pieces for AURI (Indonesian Air Force)
CODENAME
In Indonesia, this aircraft is named "Ujang", the origin of the word Ujang is from the designer of this aircraft, namely Ujang Sukirno.

In England The Plane Is Called Lion
