The S-2-100 was the first airframe of the S-2 series.
Ground attack was the main purpose in mind for this aircraft.
Designed a year before the S-1. And redesigned after the S-1's combat applications, the experiences the S-1 faced with problems as it was overcomplicated. Created alot of stress for the pilot. and was costly when it came to maintenance.
The S-2-100 was the fix to the S-1's issues. With the original design being as complicated as the S-1. It trickled down into the S-2-100's model.
