The VL-30 is a Soviet experimental fighter/ ground attack plane made in 1947. The engines are reversed engineered German BMW 003 jet engines, which propelles the plane to 500 mph. The cockpit included a machometer, as pilots declared that they, in a dive, have reached the speed of sound. Its arsenal included 2 23mm Shevak cannons with 400 HE, APHE or HVAP rounds each and 14 13mm unguided rockets.
