The factory is in full operation right now, and there are plenty more planes to come. These new fuselage pieces are amazing.

109k WalrusAircraft@Authros - thanks that looks good. I'll try the same and will share any techniques I learn.9.3 years ago

72.5k Authros@WalrusAircraft I can image it would also be possible to make a hollow aircraft using fuselage blocks to shape the walls, I will be testing that later to possibly replace on my A400M.9.3 years ago

72.5k Authros@WalrusAircraft The problem with the fuselage parts is ultimately they are still blocks, they have set edges but they're still cuboid. Making a large fuselage round can be done but need to be done with several addition fuselage sections. One main one down the middle and several on the side to shape it and make it seem more round. That said, my solution for a bomb bay is to have three main fuselage sections side by side and to cave out a section in the bottom of the main section which I can later cover with doors like so: http://imgur.com/MYD5usi9.3 years ago

109k WalrusAircraft@Authros - that's great! I'm thinking of a B-52 might be next. I'm also torn with the idea of swapping my Bear body with the new parts. It would look great, but there would be no bomb bay.9.3 years ago
-
72.5k Authros@PlanesOfOld Actually I started on a larger project last night of a B-1. Main fuselage and engines are about done so that should be up either tonight or tomorrow morning. It's quite big, about the size of @WalrusAircraft Bear and only about 30 parts so far.9.3 years ago
