As demand for and Anti-ground/ anti+ship airgraft was high, Zoomwalt Aircraft Industries pulls through to create another variant of the already prominant AC-130. Despite this model being almost completely being talen out of it’s original fighter role it was originally placed into, it operated well as a heavy fighter and bomber hunter. The initial test flight was on July 27, 1951. And exeeded the expectations needed to qualify for military service. Almost immediately after the inital test flight, The AC-130HC was placed into service on the aircraft carrier, FLNS Spectre, where it served even untill after the introduction of the AC-131.
