P-1
DESCRIPTION: the P-1 was a commercial sea-plane for both passenger and cargo use. The P-1 featured retractable seats for hauling cargo, and seats for passengers. In 1932 Pan-am and Air italia decided to make a sea plane to compete with BOAC’s giant fleet of flying boats. Thus the contract was goven to Piper aircraft (a company in America) and Kiné (a company in italy) to make designs for this aircraft. Piper won the contract, as the only advantage over the Kiné was top speed. Thus the aircraft was named Piper-1 or P-1. It had a 20 passenger capacity and an optional sleeping compartment. 304 were built and served until the end of the flying boats. PERFORMANCE: the P-1 is fictional, but is based on antonov 7’s. Top speed of approximately 234 MPH, minimum takeoff power, 71%. Minimum in-flight speed: 124 MPH. Recommended landing power: 13%. The plane will rock back and forth during take-off and when first spawning will rock back into an almost vertical position. DO NOT mess with any controlls while this is happening. Just give it a couple seconds to level out. This is my first and most detailed sea-plane, and most detailed plane so far. It has very nice handelling. If you have ever flown a short-sunderland in Simpleplanes, it is kinda like that. Not mediocre but not incredible either. Maintinence: if you want to put more weight on this plane, please make it near the center of gravity, because it is very sensitive (only while in water) to not being balanced.

well u could make the bar thinner if u wanted
Quite a unique design, but I raise a question
How does the pilot see?
Thank you very much, it is my first sea plane
This looks like a very interesting design, quite creative. Nice build overall
