The Undefeated Warriors of Operation Palisade

When war was declared by the People's Republic of Germany against the Imperial Confederation of Saltwater, the Saltwater Navy prepared a daring operation. Enforcing a blockade of the German coast, it became imperative to prevent sorties by the German Navy from breaching the cordon. Operation Palisade saw a three-pronged attack hit the western coast.
Whilst a surface group led by battlecruiser Cardinal Bay struck the German fleet at Wilhelmshaven and knocked it out of action, four hastily-uparmoured and up-gunned Flight IC Minerva-class frigates made their way up the estuary of the River Elbe, packing C-RAM defences and a surplus of autocannons and machine guns on deck and additional armour hung off their sides. Coming within rifle range of the shore, they first knocked out the lock gates of the Kiel Canal with gunfire, marines and unmanned surface vessels, before proceeding up the river itself towards Hamburg.
Engaged all the way by small arms and combat swimmers trying to block their path, SWS Blackgang took multiple hits from a German gunboat that destroyed her bridge and temporarily knocked out her main gun. With the other ships in her squadron returning fire, the flotilla pressed on to the city, where they offloaded their marines to begin razing the port. The frigates themselves, their long-range gun batteries now in range of Berlin, began shelling the capital and the infrastructure of Hamburg that surrounded them, before attaching tow lines to seized commercial vessels and hauling them away, breaching a poorly-built barricade to make their way back to open water.
With their raid complete, the commercial vessels were successfully scuttled off Bremerhaven, blocking that port as well, despite the overworked engines of SWS Thunderer packing up just as the operation was concluding. Overall, the Saltee forces took just 23 casualties, whilst nearly 200,000 Germans would die as a result of the damage they inflicted. 116 enemy warships were sunk, a major shipping canal disabled, three major ports put out of action for the rest of the war, communications and power infrastructure knocked out across much of the country and the government in Berlin was unhoused from its seat of government.

Controls:
1. AG1... just kinda destroys the ship tbh.

  1. AG2+TRIM+VTOL operates the RIM-178 Arrowhead point-defence missile system.

3.AG3+TRIM+VTOL operates the close-defence machine guns and autocannons.

  1. AG3 also releases the towed USV. PITCH+ROLL operates the USV. Crashing into the target at sufficient speed will detonate the warhead.

  2. AG4 fires the deck-mounted anti-torpedo torpedo launchers.

  3. AG5+TRIM+VTOL operates the Phalanx close-in weapons system.

  4. Activate AG6 and slide VTOL up to retract the temporary hanger. Press AG7 with VTOL up to push the hanger away from the superstructure. Deactivate AG6, and slide TRIM up to lower the hanger into the deck. Slide VTOL down to complete the process. Deactivate AG7 and return the sliders to their normal positions. Reverse the process to deploy the temporary hanger.

  5. AG8+TRIM+VTOL operates the 203mm Lightweight Stand-off Naval Gun System main gun.

  6. THRUST+YAW controls the ship itself.

Credits! They are due! Idk who to though... can't remember where the Iron Dome came from. But if it's you, let me know and I'll be sure to credit you!
