Panavia Tornado [98 part]
The Panavia Tornado is a family of twin-engine, variable-sweep wing multi-role combat aircraft, jointly developed and manufactured by Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany.
This specific variant is the Panavia Tornado IDS (PA200) of the Italian Air Force.
inspired by the Tornado IDS serial MM7006 from 154 Gruppo, painted with a black tail and red devil tail art for the 25th anniversary of the Tornado service in the AMI.
(I know bro I suck at tail art.)
In this photo above the Tornado is en-route to Tarani for a simulated airfield attack as part of the "Spring Flag" exercise. it does not seem to carry any bombs or PGMs (I mean obviously). though it has a laser designator pod. so I just made one with an air-to-air only loadout, which I think is cool.
it has 2 AIM-9Ls and 58 flares total.
2x 27mm Mauser BK27 cannon with 180 rounds per gun
and 2 fuel tanks you can jettison using AG2
you can also use the refuelling probe using AG1
Joint developed by West German MBB, British BAC and Aeritalia. Partner nations agreed to form a multinational company, Panavia Aircraft GmbH, to develop and manufacture the MRCA. The project's aim was to produce an aircraft capable of undertaking missions in the tactical strike, reconnaissance, air defence, and maritime roles.
The Tornado has seen action in multiple conflicts throughout the years in Bosnia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and against IS in the war on terror.
(le small teaser)
personally one of my favorite cold war jets, very cool
this is only just a fun build cause I have like 7 other WIP planes that I have yet to finish. I made it in like half a day with smaller part count than what I have WIP, fixing all my other builds just get borang. I'll probably remake the Tornado again some time in the future.
if I made a mistake uh sorry I'm not the smartest person and its uhhh 1am

@OrderlyHippo if I find time, I'll try to make an F35A/C with less than 182 parts
Hmm…ok. You’re good. You might be as good as @MrZa. He made an awesome F-35B in 182 parts.
@Krikkit42 Thanks, will do!
Love the simplicity while getting the look & feel spot on! Check out my Tornados, if you like: 217 parts basic version and 533 parts ASSTA 3.1 version with LGBs
