@RamboJutter oooooh so the shafts of the engines go through each other, right?
(don't take that out of context)

@RamboJutter unfortunately not. It’s one of those planes that seems to have mostly been forgotten to history, or at least by the masses.

@Thundrhawk1 it has 2 engines both driving 2 contra rotating props. So weighs about as much as most twin engine fighters.

@ChiChiWerx thanks :) I was wondering about the evolution of the American roundels, I didn't realise the significance of the older symbols, thanks for the info.

Four props? with all those engines it must be very heavy...

Flies well, very fun. I especially like the livery, a bit more fantastical, which is fun. Great details, such as the wheel wells, though I would have named the post “early USAAF (U.S. Army Air Forces) version”.

@RamboJutter ahhh that makes sense since they have a similar feel to them but the opening at the bottom front of the cowling gives it the merlin mustang vibe. Did you know someone made an awful replica of one with Mustang wings in real life.

Was the nose/fuselage inspired by a Mustang at all?
