The penteconter was one of the earliest boats in the Mediterranean. It was mostly used for war and transportation(Merchants). It carried about 50 oarsmen and is believed to be the ship that Odysseus used. It was replaced by the bireme and then primarly became used for transportation.Oars are AG1&2 while steering is AG3&4. The steering and oars dont really control it but it can move via wind. Dont start with the wind already active. Use 20-60 mph of wind to get realistic speed. Enjoy!
