la bas class were a series of larg cruiser built in 1943 3 ships were built in total. las bas, serenite and lumiere du soleil .built as a counter to germen pocket battleships and italian battleships. these ships were built with experimental high presure boilers to bring here up to speeds of 32 knots while keeping the armour. [controls] 1 a and b turret 2 x and y turret armament 12 28cm guns in triple mounts way to many 25mms 1 x seaplane
