Knockout M35 SAM
The new MANPADS (MAN-Portable Air Defense System) of the Pilotmario Armed Forces, it engages targets based on their infrared and ultraviolet signatures. Operation is the same as the IRL FIM-92 Stinger. It was introduced as a means of engaging low-level attack aircraft such as the Throth, which the existing dual-purpose M33 ATGM/SAM was incapable of engaging due to its slow missile speed. The M35 SAM with its FIM-3 missile was first employed in the Battle of Snowstone Island, where members of the NFK's 111th Mountain Regiment, who received these missiles via Pilotmario Marines and had little training with, were able to bring down a Wespe during the final stages of the campaign. The main missile used during the campaign was the M33, which served well due to the fact most targets were helicopters. The first real test of the missile occured during the Concordian Liberation Campaign, where they were responsible for shooting down 62% of all Central aircraft lost to ground fire. Throth pilots, who before could reliably engage in hit and run attacks against Allied ground troops at low level, now found themselves the ones who are hunted. This missile, alongside the new M3 Skysweeper II, were credited with preventing the Teuton Luftstreitkrafte and Vandarian Air Force from becoming a threat.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Same as our Pummeler. Well, was.
We had gun pods that are designed to point downwards so that they can simply fly level and do strafing.
However, Pummeler pilots didn't want them because they preferred rockets over bombs, and if you're going to use rockets, you might as well use the wing guns that the Pummeler already has.
Rocket pods are the favored weapon of the Paternian Air Force Pummeler, second to the guns. Parachute bombs tie with the guns, and unguided bombs are utterly disliked.
@Pilotmario but mine doesn't have bombs. It has massive Machine guns :3
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation That's virtually any bomber.
@Pilotmario Anyways. I have a lot of Weaponry on my CAS Aircraft. The newest one can just fly straight and eliminate anything under it.
@Pilotmario Yeah? Got solution for dat too!
Link me to it!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Well, above the clouds, it's more likely that it can't hit them because of the range.
However, the Defender ADS will kill it.
@Pilotmario Oh that sucks. Anyways I know your Operators don't have the sight to see through cloud's lmao
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Here's what I'm talking about. It also has an optical-tracked mode.
@GoldenEagle This is how we blow Awwami planes when they get a bit too close and we don't have a SPAAG.
Well, the weapon does have the ability to mount contrast seekers with the missile, focusing on the image of the target via wide-angle high-resolution camera.
And I'm referring to the UV emissions of the engine. @MemeKingIndustriesAndCommerceMegaCorporation
Interesting. I'm assured that would still generate plenty of UV radiation though. @JakeTheDogg
@Pilotmario Thank you, I'm not that good at building weapons so I needed to know.
@Pilotmario well we have a screener to dissipate the UV Around the plane. since it goes very fast. its basically non-existant :D
@JakeTheDogg Oh. Is this a nuclear fusion core?
@JakeTheDogg And UV signature?
By the way, blue and green flames are HOTTER.
@MasterMindIndustriesAndAviationCorporation Modern countermeasure flares are able to give a very similar IR signature to a jet engine, but has a readily distinguishable UV signature to a jet engine.
@Pilotmario well obviously. Flares don't give off as much heat as jet engines. Which is why my jets are supercooled. :)
@Areonautics3 @JakeTheDogg @MasterMindIndustriesAndAviationCorporation You might want to fit some flares on your jets.
Oh wait. This missile can tell the difference between flares and jet exhaust.
@Gmanndo1000 Yes. However, if you don't feel like doing so, you can simply say that you use someone else's guns, provided you asked permission.
As of now, you can use all my small arms I have produced.
In fact, we are more than willing to sell you any equipment.
Rp question: do I have to build and post my nations weapons, like gun and small arms?
