The V-15 was created to shoot down enemy FY-430s from attacking the Empire of Cheese. (What? I like cheese) they were also adept at destroying enemy ground forces with their hidden autocannon. They were equiped with flares so they could combat fighters and avoid SAMs. The handling wasnt the best though so they were scrapped later in the war for more favorable aircraft
