SMK Heavy Tank

19.8k SpartanSR91  8.5 years ago

The SMK was one of five prototype heavy tanks built, tested, and sent to the Battle of Summa during the Winter War against Finland. The three designs were the SMK, the T-100, and the KV-1 (they were to replace the aging and unreliable T-35 "landship".) The SMK was immobilized by a mine (a T-100 was sent to recover it.) The SMK was later recovered (after 2 months) and one T-100 was later rebuilt into an SU-100Y prototype. The model seen here features faux tracks, realistic suspension, independent turret traverse (AG1 + VTOL, AG2 + VTOL respectively), independent gun elevation (AG3 + VTOL, AG4 + VTOL respectively), and extra equipment (spaced armor blocks, a crate, an external fuel tank, and two logs.) WARNING, the tank can actually reach 90 mph and is rather top heavy, hovever the main turret can be used to right the tank.
