The S-4 was designed by Seki Heavy Industries as a multirole aircraft that can intercept, dogfight and ground attack. To match the demands ,the S-4 has a powerful engine to achive high climb rate and high speed, a well researched and designed high wing structure for great maneuverability , and a rapid firing cannon fitted in the nose for ground attacking. The S-4E is a variant designed for export purposes. Since this is the first time for Seki to export an aircraft , the company sees this as a chance to expand its sales and also study the S-4s capability in combat.
