(Group 1) Activate Main Engine. (Group 3) Activate Parracute for dramatic decrease in speed. (Group 8) Activate VTOL and deactivate VTOL. The only issue with this plane is that if you use the VTOL and activate the engine at 100% thrust, the VTOL will still be active so you have to turn off the power, turn off group 8 (VTOL) then activate group ( Main Engine) and then apply power to keep airbourne. May be confusing but with about 15 minutes of practice you could get used to it.
