The F-40 Hornet II is a multi-role fighter, nuclear bomber, and strile aircraft. It was primarily designed to be a fighter alongside the F-35, but in testing was seen to have major potential. The F-40’s name comes from the F/A-18 which is where most of the intentions come from. The F-40 belongs to the navy but only opperates in the US. You will most commonly see this aircraft with a F-35. AG1: Afterburner, AG2: Boom-50s, AG7: Landing Functions, AG8: Lights. Equipped with 2 boom 50s in an internal weapons bay, 2 AIM 120Cs, A Gau-40 Mini, and a Grenade Cannon.
