The Needle was created by Big J Industries as a cheap, high and low altitude interceptor for the Newhallian Federation Air Force. It was built at the outbreak of the war to protect the airbases used by the Newhallian Federation from attack. It has a max altitude of over 50,000 feet and can reach that altitude in about 5 minutes. It is armed with four long range missiles, two short range missiles and a gatling cannon. It is manuverable at all altitudes.
