Lockheed L-100-30 Hercules is made for transport aircraft but Merpati Nusantara Airlines want it to be a passengger aircraft and they convert it from transport to passenger. Because of 1998 Indonesian monetary crisis and operating too many type of aircraft that make them cant pay taxes so they cant fly since 2014 and they finnally disbanded at 2022. "Where are their planes now?", now some of their plane has been taken by TNI-AU (Indonesian airforce) and some airlines that survived monetary crisis
