Lockheed T-33 Shooting star Fuerza Aérea Mexicana
The T-33 or T-bird was a trainer designed by Lockheed developed from the T-80/F-80 jet. Design originally started in 1943 and the first flight was in 1948.
The T-33 served in 30 nations and is still in use for training in smaller air forces.
In the 50s Mexico acquired 55 of these
trainer jets thanks to the military assistance program being delivered in early 1961 becoming a key piece in training pilots and in other roles such as reconnaissance and support to ground troops where it acquired the nickname "Tetra" derived from the pronunciation of the number 33.
The T-33 continued serving until it was retired on July 13th 2007

@Cheeseburger33 young man, I’d recommend not to put your age on your profile because we had an incident with one user and another user. I’d like to prevent that…
