A semi-futuristic, variable geometry jet interceptor designed for fast response, high-altitude missions.

Includes powerful afterburners, missiles and both variable geometry stabilisers and primary wings.

Normal flight mode allows a maximum cruise speed of approximately 1360 MPH.

Activating afterburners increases maximum speed to 2000 MPH.

Folding wings back increases maximum speed to 2200 MPH.

Combining afterburners and folding wings brings top speed up to 3100 MPH.

Flight characteristics are quite smooth below 2000 MPH, however when flying above that, combined roll and pitch manoeuvres can be a bit 'stiff-like'.

When wings are extended, primary wings act as ailerons, and stabilisers serve as stabilators. When retracted, stabilisers are locked in the default position and ailerons act as elevons (purely aesthetic).

Trying to maintain a realistic high-speed profile, missiles are internally stored and launched out the rear of the plane as not to disturb airflow. Activating weapons systems will prompt 3 pods to extend out the aircraft at an angle, within are stored high-performance ATA missiles.

Afterburner will only engage when throttle is at 100%.

Dorsal intake and intakes will close and narrow respectively when afterburners are on and aircraft is travelling above 1000 MPH (purely aesthetic).

I know the plane is not blisteringly fast, (I could have it going Mach 50 with the XML editor), I kept the speed somewhat realistic but still speedy.
