Here's Endeavor, yet again, from the Raiden Fighters series.

The Endeavor is a heavily modified variant of a successful Navy fighter serving the Gun Dog squadron. The original intention was to allow the squadron to operate off of aircraft carriers, thereby increasing its operational reach. However with the total loss of the Government's Navy, the Endeavor soon found itself mothballed in reserve. Since by the time it was introduced, it was far outclassed by many of the newer fighters serving the squadron.

Indeed, the Endeavor is the worst plane you can pick in Raiden Fighters. It is both slow and weak, making it difficult to use for both survival and scoring. It's apparently so forgettable, that a enemy tank ignored crushing it in the first level of the second game.

Since I have a soft spot for the underdog, I made the Endeavor be able to break at least 400 mph while flying leveled. Its design reminds me a lot of the Grumman aircraft that fought in WWII.
