Delta operated a fleet of 18 Boeing 777-200, with 10 of them being Long Range aircraft, they operated the Boeing 777 from 1999 to 2020, with them being retired due to the Covid Pandemic.
The aircraft, N826DA, was delivered to Delta in 1999 and operated commercial service with the airline till 2020, it was then delivered to the Wilmington Company in 2022.
