Little Red STOL MkII
The latest version of my light personal STOL aircraft.
This aircraft is perfect for the beginning pilot. With a low stall speed of around 60mph, and an impressive thrust to weight, this plane powers off the ground in less than 100ft, and can land in even shorter distances.
In addition, she is incredibly stable, and nearly impossible to stall. At full throttle, she'll climb until she hits her maximum ceiling, and will gladly put along at just 20% throttle.
Low take-off and landing speeds, as well as the short take-off and landing distances means this plane is ideal for landing in and exploring wild terrain. The robust landing gear is designed to put the center of mass behind them, ensuring that within the 60-90mph recommended landing speed, the tail will fall after touchdown with little resistance and a light back-stick, ensuring that your prop is clear of the ground and debris. Be sure to use the Air-brakes when landing (VTOL SLIDER) and avoid the use of the wheel brakes until you are under 30mph.
Try the Little Red STOL mkII today, and broaden your bush-flying experience!
