History: The Martin Baker AJ-3A Viper was designed in 1962 as a light, twin-engine, single-seat, attack aircraft. It was equipped with four .50 caliber machine guns. It was used for about a week in Vietnam before being pulled from the conflict. It was exported the next year to England before the design was sold to Hawker, who after about two months scrapped the design.
