The Midbury 4E was one of the RAF’s bomber planes used to bomb german factories. They were equiped with 4 heavy bombs, 4 wing guns, and a machine gun turret at the back. However, the bombers didnt have defensive weapons at the belly, which made them an easy target for german fighters. The Midburys were all destroyed before they reached their target. The designer of the plane was later executed.
