Panorama PX-1VAW Variable Angle Wings

7.2 years ago
Shortly after the successful creation of the "Whirler", Panorama Aviation modified their design to test the ability of flying of 'control-surface-less' aircrafts. The wings and stabilizers have been modified with small rotators that adjust the angle of attack of the wings rather that the whole plane, hoping for a quicker reaction in turning. The result was the PX-1, Pan Av's first aircraft to have been fitted with variable angle wings. This modification greatly speeded up the roll movement of the aircraft.
