F-24 Alastair (Mk.II)
The F/A-24 Alastair is a 6th Generation, multirole, carrier-based air superiority fighter. The Alastair takes many design cues from the YF-23 Black Widow, but modernizes the airframe and extends capability. One advancement is an improved, dynamic G-suit for the pilot, allowing him/her to handle up to 10 G’s on a more frequent interval. Integrated fly by wire systems streamline the airframe so the pilot can focus on combat.
Max Speed: Mach 2.3 @ 30,000ft
Supercruise Speed: Mach 1.4 @ 30,000ft
Service Ceiling: 65,000ft
Armament: 2 Guardians, 4 Interceptors, and 4 Infernos
Features AoA Limiter switch for PSM, refueling probe, and folding wings.
I designed this aircraft for realistic performance. Because of this, most the the FT code is not mine. Huge thank you to the wizards who wrote code and made parts that I used in this!!!
Mark II: added wing vapor effects, more realistic engine curves, further tuned balance, and much better low speed stability and maneuverability.
