SimpleHistory about TU-16 in Indonesia

Eng:25 of these bombers, the Tu-16KS-1 variant were owned by the AURI (the name of the Indonesian Air Force at that time) in 1961. These planes were used to prepare themselves for Operation Trikora in 1962 to retake West Irian from the Netherlands. All of these aircraft were planned to attack Hr. Ms. Karel Doorman, a Dutch Navy aircraft carrier sailing near West Irian which is currently using the AS-1 Kennel anti-ship missile,14 Tu-16 units were members of Squadron 41 and the rest in Squadron 42. Both squadrons are headquartered at Iswahyudi Air Force Base, in Madiun, East Java. All Tu-16s were discontinued in 1969 and left the Air Force in 1970.

IDN:25 unit pesawat bomber ini, varian Tu-16KS-1 dimiliki oleh AURI (nama TNI-AU waktu itu) pada tahun 1961. Pesawat-pesawat ini digunakan untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam Operasi Trikora tahun 1962 untuk merebut kembali Irian Barat dari Belanda. Semua pesawat ini direncanakan untuk menyerang Hr. Ms. Karel Doorman, kapal induk AL Belanda yang tengah berlayar dekat Irian Barat yang saat itu menggunakan rudal anti-kapal AS-1 Kennel,14 unit Tu-16 tergabung dalam Skadron 41 dan sisanya di Skadron 42. Kedua skadron ini bermarkas di Pangkalan Udara AURI Iswahyudi, di Madiun, Jawa Timur. Semua unit Tu-16 tidak diterbangkan lagi pada tahun 1969 dan keluar dari armada AURI pada tahun 1970.

Effective Use/Manual use

If u wanna use KS-1 komet Manually,
Step 1: disable active 8(make sure tu-16 fly upper or straight before disable active 8)

Step2: active 1 for rights bomb/ active 2 for left(Press one of them to launch them)

Step3: Control till it crash the target

Note

There is Gyroscope attach in middle active 1&2 will make them work to make sure Tu-16 not spin or flip when use manual Control

KS-1 komet has two different mode
Mode1 : Automatically Lock ( Basically a Clever)
Mode 2 : manual

Different launch time when launch them between manual n auto
Manual take time about 2,5 sec to start the engine
