K-700 Flying Fortress
Based on the Kalinin K-7, the K-700 is a large and in charge flying fortress with a horrifying weapons loadout. That loadout features six 150mm high velocity cannons, and three 18 Inch naval guns. Yes, you read that right, this thing is a flying battleship. You can even see the shells on their loading racks in the lower rear observation deck. In order to defend such a huge aircraft, the K-700 is equipped with automated anti-aircraft turrets along the wings and horizontal stabilizer. Each turret houses 8 machine guns in quad mounts, 4 above and 4 below each wing. This aircraft is also surprisingly fast for its size. This is due to the 12 massive engines, each rated at 1,000 horsepower with 25 foot wide contra-rotating propellers. For the cockpit, there are four internal camera views, each showing one of the crew stations. You may want to read all of the craft instructions before flying this aircraft, as there are consequences to ignoring some warnings.
Controls: Also in craft instructions.
Pitch/Roll/Yaw: Basic fixed wing aircraft controls (Automatic Gyroscope assists with taxiing and landing without needing deactivation for flight)
Throttle: Main Engine Power (must be active for engineer systems readout to function)
Trim: Adjust Trim
VTOL: Vertical Turret Drive
AG1: Toggle Primary Weapons
AG2: Toggle Dorsal AA guns
AG3: Toggle Ventral AA guns
Additional Notes:
The 18 Inch gun turret traverses automatically and the guns are gyro stabilized, use VTOL to manually line up the shot.
The anti-aircraft turrets will autotarget enemies for you, it is best to fly straight and level when using them.
Since the game only allows one propeller per engine at the time this aircraft is uploaded, this actually has 24 engines, each rated at 500 horsepower.
