My entry for MajorSix's RAF Challenge (WWII).
I actually built this a while ago but thought I'd improve it and use it in this challenge.
The Longworth LW.27 is a fictional Canadian fighter designed around 1935.
It was ordered as a back-up fighter/close air support aircraft for the RAF during WWII. Due to it's pre-war design, features such as retractable gear and other technological advances weren't included. Because of this, the RAF instituted it into the role of dive-bombing and close air support rather than being a primary fighter.
Normal controls.
VTOL down for flaps.
