AAI SSTI-1
In 1979, the nation of Kolechia started Mass-Strategic bombings of the Arstotzkan islands in order to retake the Wright isles. AAI's Factories took massive damage due to this campaign and their projects such as the SS-4 and a turbofan powered fighter resembling a Mig-21 were put on hold. The Ministry of defense requested a turbofan powered fighter with relatively small dimensions that could mass-produced by making the aircraft as simple as possible, and AAI made the Supersonic-Turbofan interceptor, or SSTI Mark 1. It first saw action during an attack on Yeager airport where the plane demonstrated its ability to climb to intercept altitude in less than a minute. It continued service until the end of the Kolechian-Arstotzkan war of 1982 and beyond.
