J.E.T. Sonicore II

Auto Credit Based on MasterPilot's J.E.T. Sonicore

The first Sonicore was an innovation: its sleek shape was difficult to manufacture, but it allowed the jet to have minimal drag, unheard from any other MPI aircraft before, while also giving it a futuristic shape. This helped with its agility, which, accompanied with its speed, made it quite the hassle to confront. It also had a flurry of laser blasters, which made for a sure shot even if you're not good at aiming. While we're on the topic of weapons, it had the regular payload, but the 4 Cleaver missiles allows it to take down a small convoy or an escort without direct confrontation. ---- With the Sonicore II, things changed. The engine layout changed, with a main engine hidden in the fuselage, along with two afterburners in the wings. There are less guns, with two only now, but these guns pack more of a punch. There are also ATA missiles, rockets and ATG missiles, and, as substitutes for the lack of Cleavers, Bomb 25s and Torpedoes. A new feature is the experimental Drivr engine (1), which allows insane acceleration. NOTE: Use the engine in short bursts, as prolonged use will tear the plane apart.
