History: Essentially a heavily upgraded M3/M5 Stuart, the Stridsvagn A62 Fiskgjuse (Osprey) was designed in 1956 to fill the role of a light tank. Armed with a 90mm autoloader with six rounds per magazine and a top speed of close to 50mph, the Fiskgjuse would have been a force to be reckoned with. But, the tank's thickest armor was on the front and was only 30mm thick, meaning that it couldn't take a hit from too big of a gun. It had a crew of three consisting of a driver/radio operator, commander, and gunner/loader. About 350 Fiskgjuses were made and none went into service, although a few were exported to France (where they were later tested and eventually scrapped). A concept version of the tank included an oscillating turret and ejector seats for the crew, although the reliability of the system was never tested.
