Throttle up to send elevator car to my earlier posted space station (wouldn't that be nice).
The sudden multiple Gs may cause brain damage to passengers, so you may want to start off at 2 or 3% throttle till clearing base tower, then throttle full while traversing the magnetic tether beam.

That’s an interesting and good point, as long as the rockets become reusable, as is currently in the works. I suppose the concern has always been fuel costs, but I assume that too will change soon (hopefully!) @Irobert55

@Tarquez if you want to build a space elevator you need a super relieble rocket. now you have your elevator. what will be cheaper to run? the super reliable rocket. think about it: the tech needed to build it will end up better than the elevator.

nice looking for something taht might be the ultimate case of useless because of its own existence. the idea of a space elevator prety much requests one to build one. so yes the system needed to build the first one would make the whole elevator useless before the tech is even finished.
I may or may not have accelerated to 100% very quickly
@Kerbango, yeah, I did get one for a year old build the other day, from a new follower... it's a nice feeling.
