FV Corp. 60(H)-2 Tank destroyer
Background
The F.T.R.V. 60(H)-2 was a casemate built on the existing F.T.R.V. 60(H)-1 Chassis, (yes, I MIGHT make it as well if I get bored) as a response to more heavily armed, and armored axis vehicles appearing in late 1942. The tank had a crew of 4 (Commander/radio operator, gunner, loader, driver) and was equipped the newly developed HVT/T 75 (High Velocity anti Tank, tank, 75mm) anti tank cannon, a gun far superior to any others mounted on F.T.R.V. vehicles at the time. conversions from existing 60(H)-1s and other hulls started in mid-1943, but Due to rapid development of a turret capable of housing the HVT/T 75 gun (this tank was the 60(H)-1B), only around 150 of the casemate were made before production halted. The existing tanks still saw service until the end of the war though, with some receiving field upgrades including a 9.5mm LMG used by the commander for defense against close infantry attacks. The tank performed well at longer ranges, and was able to easily get into ambushing positions due to high speed, but lack of armor caused considerable losses in direct confrontations. All in all, the tank served as a good test bed for future F.T.R.V. tank developments.

Notes
First tank build in a bit, and I’m pretty happy with it. Got to experiment and try a lot of new things with XML, and I’m especially happy about the tracks. (Which are of course not my idea, I’ve seen a few like them on the site. For example, this beautiful machine, and this cool one aswell. )
Not sure how to explain, but the gun isn’t laser point accurate because of the two inside of each other. The affect goes away after 1 or 2 shots (I think) but at least it’s subtle to the point where it’s kinda realistic..?
this actually has a damage model, (taken from Wernster) so unless you’re being shot at by explosive rounds, you can take a few hits.
that’s it I guess
Enjoy!
