This STOL/VTOL aircraft is based on a Lego creation I have at home. That Lego creation inspired me to start writing a story. Then, finally, I decided to make the aircraft in SP! So, here is some information about the aircraft/story:

The BZT-12 Scorpion is a multirole aircraft used by all branches of the military. The aircraft depicted here has been specially designed to operate in the atmosphere of EXO-1, a planet in the process of being colonized. This aircraft is in the service of the E1PDF (EXO-1 Planetary Defense Force). These aircraft perform many roles, including: Recon, bombing strikes, base defense, and transportation (of troops/cargo). It has a crew of two (pilot & co-pilot) and can hold ten fully armed soldiers inside. This aircraft is a part of the "Red X" squadron, which performs ground strikes and recon missions all over the planet. This aircraft is also the one that two of the three main characters fly (one being the pilot, the other the co-pilot). In the story, these craft can reach speeds over four hundred, whereas this replica can only reach around 280-300. This model does not come equipped with VTOL engines.
