Ju-209A1
HISTORY/R&D
Prototype: Ju-209A
Role: preproduction and production aircraft
The Ju-209A1 is the preproduction series of Ju-209A as there was only a couple of things different from the 209A and the 209A1, the A1 has a larger and thicker propeller, larger diameter and a top speed of more then 320MPH
the German Empire Air Ministry (GEAM) requested a total of 100 Preproduction which 80 of them were fitted with the 75MM PaK37 LeuH 22 anti tank gun which was the most advanced 75mm in the GE arsenal including wing mounted 20mm MG-150. This variant of the aircraft is called Ju-209I, I for interceptor. However this choice of armament has caused the max speed and the acceleration of the aircraft to suffer poorly including the turn time. There was also reports of the 75mm ammo falling out of some test runs of the aircraft which turn out to be false. However the Ju-209I any existing ones were change into Ju-209S, S for strike which is why there are 5,000 Ju-209S and 5,000 Ju-209F, F for fighter.
However when this started to become a mass producible aircraft the Italian empire (BOR) declared war on the German empire.
