SILK-176 Haikala (Shark) Recon-Bomber Floatplane
In 1943 Se Suomi Imperiumi layed down requirements for a new courier/mail plane of their new Suomi Imperiumi Lentokonetehdas (Finland Imperial Aircraft Factory) that would replace foreign types currently in service. The SILK model 17 was an exceptional success in this role and further went on to become a popular private aircraft among wealthy civilians and nobles. In 1945 SILK went on to experiment with turning this fixed gear landplane into a floatplane. The civilian model went on sale in 1946 and nations started snatching them up for service in the Southwest Pacific. Noting it's success, the government requested a military reconnaissance-bomber floatplane to be developed from the earlier SILK-175 variant. Within six months Se Suomi Imperiumi was presented with the Haikala (Shark,) Model 176, an intermediate range reconnaissance-bomber floatplane. In the war with Das Germanishe Weltreich these aircraft have been scouring the Baltic and North Sea for Germanishe freighters and warships since the beginning of hostilities in early 1954.
********
CG 1 Activates the defensive armament, VTOL slider controls the turret.
CG 2 drops the 250 Lb Bombs, test your' skills at dive bombing! (She's pretty responsive within her performance envelope.)
Note: The missiles carried are almost exclusively anti-ship missiles. (Inferno missiles.) Further, on take-off she will ride fine on her own up to about 128 mph, after that bear down on the elevator and at 145 mph-ish she will break the water surface tension. Landings are easy either with low power or with the engines cut, just remember to bear down on the elevator as though you're trying to take off so she doesn't dip her float tips and flip.

@DeezDucks Come to think on it, I -think- my heavy bomber has six of 'em between three turrets - not counting the other turrets with standard guns. lol
@DragonAerotech hahaha xD
VTOL slider controls the turret too on CG2, BTW, don't worry you won't shoot off your' props or tailplane I've tested it pretty extensively. ^_~
@DeezDucks I'm at my limit for today, you'll see more versions of this bird tomorrow and more. Oh, oops, forgot to credit you for the guns at that nifty 45 degree or so angle! I plucked it off of your' Bf-110E Trop. a while back. You'll be seeing a lot of it in my builds. XD
Keep it up!
