Auto Credit Based on SturerEmil's XF-40 V-3
(Fictional History) In 1970, a short airframed bomber variant of the F-96 C was proposed to the Airforce and the Navy. This Aircraft has the capability to carry 1,750 lbs of bombs or two Mk.14 Torpedos and six Tiny Tims. while having the Designation of FB (Fighter Bomber), it is ill equipped to deal with enemy aircraft as its armament was reduced from an NR-30 30mm and two FMC T-160 20mm cannons, two a single NR-30 for mainly strafing ground targets. This aircraft lighter than its fighter counterparts as it has a hollowed front section and a glazed nose to accomodate a Bombardier.
