My venture into (powered) gliders, very peaceful to fly but the take-off is a challenge! Set trim to minus half, VTOL to up (this is the throttle) and use the yaw to steer down the runway - it is unstable due to the landing gear configuration. When rotation speed (150mph) is reached, pitch up to 30 degrees and adjust trim for a stable climb, retracting the front landing gear. Increase altitude as you desire, it can comfortably reach at least 15,000 feet, and when you want to start the glide, press 1 to eject the engine (must still be running if you want to keep the tail) and set trim to compensate for the mass shift. I recommend the wind settings be changed to 5-20mph with a light gust for some interesting flying!
