Introduction

Su-37 fighter (English: Su-37 fighter, NATO code name: Flanker-F, translation: Flanker F, nickname: Terminator), is a single-seater, dual-engine, multi-functional all-weather supersonic jet under the control of the Russian Air Force Fighter.

The Su-37 fighter is an improved version of the Su-27 fighter, so it continues the NATO code name of the Su-27. It is a super-mobile fighter with vector thrusters. It is a series of third-generation fighters and fourth-generation fighters developed by the Russian Air Force. The test machine (internal number T10M-11) was developed from the prototype of Su-35, an important model in the implementation of the plan.

The Su-37 fighter was developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau of Russia. The test aircraft made its first flight on April 2, 1998 at the Zhukovsky test flight base near Moscow.
The Sukhoi Design Bureau had previously developed a single-engine fighter-bomber named "Su-37". This type of duck-type layout was mainly used for ground attack. It was used as an alternative model for carrier-based aircraft. , Its appearance is very similar to the French Rafale, and the Su-37 fighter is after the former dismounted, followed the number of the Su-37. The Su-37 is used to replace the Su-30MK, as well as the improved fighter Su-27SK and Su-27SM. Before the fourth-generation fighters are manufactured, this type can increase the export potential of the Su-27 series fighters. As a transitional model to the fourth-generation fighter, the Su-37 retains the structure of the Su-30MK while using the new technology that has been tested on the forward-swept-wing Su-47. In addition, Su-37 used avionics equipment and weapons developed for the fourth-generation fighter, and tested them, including the modified AL-31F engine used on the Su-37, which was also used by the fourth-generation fighter. The transitional type of 41F engine, the AL-41 engine was designed by the Lulica Engine Design Bureau. It is expected to be manufactured between 2006 and 2008, because the fourth-generation fighter will not be manufactured and equipped with troops earlier than 2010 to 2012, and will form combat effectiveness.

On April 2, 1998, after a long period of research, the Su-37 experienced major changes in the disintegration of the Soviet Union. The only prototype completed its first test flight. In the following months, it carried out about 50 more flights. test. On September 2, 1998, the Su-37 made its debut at the Farnborough International Air Show in the United Kingdom, and gave a breathtaking performance to the aviation community all over the world. The completed "tail punch", "bell", etc. The maneuvers are all pioneers, and the unprecedented maneuverability shocked the global air force community and became the "star" among the public's advanced aircraft. Due to the economic situation of the Russian army at that time, this type is expected to become the next-generation fighter for international cooperation.
