@EternalDarkness This craft can be modified as a modern replica of this aircraft, make a trimmer with an electric drive, install a controlled tail wheel, brakes, remake the cabin, install a modern engine completely enclosed by a hood, make the livery more cheerful, there is a similar modern homemade aircraft whose designer, when creating his own, focused on the AIR-3
@XEPOH you like them more aerobatic? It feels like it's set for maximum maneuverability.
Either way, I can just modify stuff to my own liking for my own use. It's really just a matter of moving a few sliders to adjust it for different kinds of flying. Still, I think you should at least include trim as a standard feature.
I really like how you did the 1st person cameras btw. Being able to look over the side is great for exploring.
@EternalDarkness this craft is set up for my "piloting style", it can be remade into a modern airplane in a retro style, it is more interesting to make other crafts that will be "comfortable", "normal", I will do it when the mood appears
@Ericshideout I know who is doing this, I have many "well-wishers" on this toxic site, for me this is not a problem, a fuss devoid of content, meaning that characterizes my opponents
I have no clue why your builds keep disappearing. Im sure its frustrating.
I've found that adding some 200lbs to the nose, reducing max deflection of elevators, and enabling trim on elevators improves the performance a lot. As it is, the plane takes off on its own and refuses to land. You may want to edit XML to get that.
I would also reduce the size of actual hidden elevators a bit or reduce their deflection angle. I think it turns a bit too well.
Once that's sorted out, this build becomes a pleasure to fly. It takes inputs very smoothly, and has a very tight turning radius. It's very easy to fly. It has too little drag, which is still causing a bit of problem on landings, as the plane just won't bleed enough speed.
Power to weight ratio is perfect. Acceleration is slow, and a lot of speed is lost in climbs. I like that.
Overall, a very well made build that I'll probably be using to explore the map on SP2, though with a few modifications.
I love these little parasol planes. This one looks really smooth too. More feedback when I get home to try it.
