The Yak-141 was a supersonic vertical takeoff/landing (VTOL) fighter aircraft designed by Yakovlev and used for testing. This model has as fully rotatable rear engine as well as mid fuselage VTOL jets with adjustable exhaust ports.

39.6k maverickvii@Authros, that's exactly what I do as well. I also have a version that starts in forward thrust mode that I use more as a STOL. Only real difference is that when you switch to vertical, the air brakes deploy to simulate opening the top intake.9.7 years ago

72.5k AuthrosI really like this VTOL set up. The small engine has a different power output the the VTOL engine so you can control the level of pitch with just the power input control. I found 41% thrust was about right for level hovering. Nice work.9.7 years ago
