When the corsair first arrived on the decks of carriers it was thought to be the match for the zero which it was but it had physical issues the blades hitting the deck on takeoff and its sluggish aspect when landing later on they found that it had almost no match over the skys of the pacific AG1 start engine AG2 tailhook
