Kayseri (MGS-2A2) is a mobile weapon system that serves as a fire support vehicle (FSV), only used exclusively by Türkiye and Indonesia since 2022. Designed in 2018 by BlackGearCompany in collaboration with FNSS and PT. Pindad, this vehicle weighs 36,800 kg, with a length of 9.3 meters and a height ranging from 3.5 to 4 meters. The MGS-2A2 is built with STANAG Level 5 protection, utilizing a composite and steel matrix, and is equipped with a V8 Type 73BX1 diesel engine that produces 680 HP, allowing it to reach a top speed of 97 km/h and an operational range of up to 720 km due to its fuel efficiency.

The MGS-2A2 is an advanced version of its predecessor, the MGS-2A1 "Tarakan." Significant upgrades include a redesign of the armor with composite materials for enhanced durability, improved modular systems, and a more reliable air conditioning system for crew comfort. Other changes include better engine placement, increased fuel tank capacity, and enhanced protection.

Although the turret of the MGS-2A2 is different (model) from its predecessor. MGS-2A2 has also seen numerous improvements, including lighter yet stronger armor, upgraded weapon systems, and a faster autoloader that reduces the ammunition reload time from 4 seconds to 3.2 seconds. The turret is equipped with various types of 105mm ammunition, including APFSDS, MPAT, and (optional) HESH, as well as a 105mm ATGM with a HEAT warhead that can be launched directly from the main gun. The latest innovations include the addition of two kamikaze drone launch tubes on the right side of the turret, as well as a more capable commander’s cupola and gunner’s hatch design.
