In the course of the work, old drawings of the old berserk BMP PRT-15 were found, which had a 30-mm cannon and 4 anti-tank guided missiles, but was not adopted. It was decided to dorobotat this concept, replace the combat module, add elements of ceramics and composite armor, which increased survivability, and installed a new ATM-91 Killer ATGM whose characteristics were classified. So, the test sample appeared on the well-known PRT platform. The name of which - Berserk PRT-20.
