31.6k VenusLancer  1.1 years ago

This is the 4rd Update of the SilverStar VF-44 prototype

The changes in this version are the details added in the fuselage, the Color, some decals, and Internal Fuel increase

Controls

Ag1: Drop Left Pylon load
Ag2: Drop Right Pylon load
Ag3: Drop the equipment on the top (Hook)
Ag8: Deactivate RCN (is useful for cruise, to reduce fuel consumption)

VTOL: Nozzles Direction (Down, Forward and -45° Reverse)
Trim: Flaps (Fold, 1/2 for Takeoff and 100% for Landing)

Weapons:

all the weapons are perfectly balanced for using mixed loadouts, and being capable to hover, for example a Missile Rack and a Gunpod

Cockpit

the cockpit has a Crossair designed for the best aiming possible, the small one is for static attacks, for example attacking a tank or a plane from behind, the Big one helps to calibrate the aiming when turning, also helps when you are locking a missile to a enemy

Hook and Docking

i ve working in the hook system for docking, is harder than i expected, but not impossible, here is the instructions:

The blimp flies at exact 129-130 KIAS, so you are secured that is the speed of docking

Throttle between 17-19%
Nozzles at 45°
Flaps Full Down

If you fly with mouse as joystick take the lower yellow point of the crossair as a neutral position, and do gentle movements, prefer to advance your movements half second before the reaction of the plane to maintain it in position, also help yourself with the orbit camera for the first attempts.

Also i took this screenshots as a evidence

Attempt 2

Hidden Feature: the Pitot Tube works for refueling, because it still easy to run out of fuel, but not much as before
