FIXED VERSION AND MORE MOBILE FREINDLYHERE

"THE U.S NAVY'S FIRST SUPERCARRIER"

I give you the USS Forrestal.

USS Forrestal (CV-59) (later CVA-59, then AVT-59), was a supercarrier named after the first United States Secretary of Defense James Forrestal. Commissioned in 1955, she was the United States' first completed supercarrier, and was the lead ship of her class. The other carriers of her class were USS Saratoga, USS Ranger and USS Independence. She surpassed the World War II Japanese carrier Shinano as the largest carrier yet built, and was the first designed to support jet aircraft.

The ship was affectionately called "The FID", because her namesake was the first Secretary of Defense, FID standing for "First In Defense". This is also the slogan on the ship's insignia and patch. She was also informally known in the fleet as the "USS Zippo" and "Forrest Fire" or "Firestal"[citation needed] because of a number of highly publicized fires on board, most notably a 1967 fire in which 134 sailors died and 161 more were injured.

Forrestal served for nearly four decades in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific. She was decommissioned in 1993, and made available as a museum. Attempts to save her were unsuccessful, and in February 2014 she was towed to Brownsville, Texas, to be scrapped. Scrapping was completed in December 2015. [1]

It took me alot less time than I thought. But i am happy with the result. I did the best I could with my building skills.

This was the picture I used as reference. But I noticed some things with this picture when comparing it to other pictures. So probably not 100% accurate.

END NOTES/CREDITS

I realize that this one doesnt have a flyable plane. I didnt put one to make it a bit more mobile friendly. And even though it only has 459 parts it acts if it had 4000 parts. I don't know why. I have turned off drag on most parts, if not all, and it still struggles to load into game. So idk if its my device or the game at this point. So yea.

I turned off drag on almost all parts there may have been some that I missed

I also went for the ship design before any upgrades were made to it.

at 1249 performance cost, its pretty mobile friendly, mine struggles to keep it below 6000 perf cost for a supercarrier. Also at 459 parts, that's a very detailed ship, but then again, most parts came from the air wing not the ship itself. Good job on the build.

    @Itzarock
What I often do is to modify an existing fuselage then just copy it from anywhere (right click-drag for windows).
I suggest when trying to get a vanilla part from the parts menu, try modifying them first before copying them. In that way, it saves you the time of doing and redoing every parts that needs to be fixed.

Mind if I de-drag it and make it 1:1 scale for you?

@ShiroNeko do you know if there is a way to turn it off without having to go through every single part.

Ini bagus. Dan saya menyarankan untuk memperbesar 40% ukurannya karna ini akan saya gunakan untuk platform pesawat pengebom

I suggest disabling the drag next time so it wouldn't perform like a 1k-part build.
    still good though.
